Originally from Brisbane, and shorter than he says he is, Axel is a graduate of the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts Music Theatre program. He appeared in Black Swan Theatre Company’s production of Oklahoma as ‘Will Parker’, for which he won the Performing Arts WA awards for best male performer and best newcomer. Axel then joined the cast of Michael Cassel’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the role of ‘Karl’, covering ‘Albus Potter’. Other performances include; ‘Leaf Coneybear’ in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Hayes Theatre, Ensemble and ‘Doody/Sonny’ cover in Grease for Crossroads Live, One Day In September for Perryman Theatre Company, Irene for Neglected Musicals, ‘Monster’ in The Recidivists for Red Line Productions, and multiple international tours with The Tap Pack. Most recently Axel starred as ‘Zach’ in Neylon and Peele’s The Beep Test at Theatreworks.
