In 2025, Budjerah releases “Want You Back” via Warner Music Australia, the first taste of his long-awaited debut album. Produced by Om’Mas Keith and written with MSquared, the track channels 90s and 2000s nostalgia through a slick, contemporary funk-pop lens. Paired with an official music video, the song reflects Budjerah’s love of uptempo music and dance—something he says helped carry him through difficult periods.
Following the release of “Is It Ever Gonna Make Sense” (2024), Budjerah completed a national headline tour, performed at the 2024 ARIA Awards, and continued shaping his debut album. His career highlights are formidable: over 50 million global streams, a Platinum-certified single “Therapy”, two ARIA Awards from 15 nominations, an APRA Award, and recognition as GQ Australia’s 2022 Breakthrough Artist.
