David graduated from Australia’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in
2010. Upon graduating David has built up an impressive list of Film, TV and Theatre
credits. Audiences will be familiar with David for his role as James Bligh in the popular
Australian Television series A Place to Call Home (Foxtel), in which he appeared for 6
seasons and was nominated for Most Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 2016 Logie
Awards. David has also appeared on the Australian series Barons, Home and Away and
Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. In 2017 David leapt to international stardom winning the
coveted role of Lord John Grey in the acclaimed series Outlander (Starz) and has played
the role for the past 6 seasons, garnering a legion of fans worldwide.
