Hugh Sheridan is one of Australia’s most loved entertainers, celebrated for his authenticity on screen and emotional depth in music. After graduating from NIDA, Hugh became a household name as Ben Rafter in Packed to the Rafters, earning three Silver Logie Awards for Most Popular Actor among numerous accolades.
Hugh’s latest album, The Merriest, is a heartfelt, joy-filled celebration of family, roots and the magic of Christmas—and a standout moment in his musical career. Recorded in Adelaide and produced at Melbourne’s iconic Sing Sing Studios, the album features 14 rich, soulful tracks, including a deeply moving cover of Paul Kelly’s “How to Make Gravy.”Created in the same studio as his previous release, Something Big, The Merriest captures the warmth, nostalgia and humour that define Hugh as a storyteller. The fan-favourite “Loco Navidad” shines as pure lyrical gold and a festive anthem in the making. The Merriest is available now on all streaming platforms.
Released earlier this year, Something Big was recorded with Hugh’s father Dennis Sheridan, a jazz musician who performed with Hugh until his passing in 2021. The album raises funds to fight prostate cancer, honouring Dennis’s legacy.
Alongside his music, Hugh co-founded The California Crooners Club, touring internationally and holding a Las Vegas residency, and is excited to be returning to Crooners Club in Adelaide in 2026.
