Jael Wena is an extraordinary Australian artist whose powerful voice and emotional depth have set her apart from a young age. Raised in a deeply musical family and inspired by her father’s journey from the Congo, Jael began writing songs at just four years old, quickly revealing a rare and instinctive talent.
By the age of nine, she had already won the Fast Track Talent Showcase three years in a row and signed with YOYO Music, marking the start of a remarkable rise. In 2018, Jael represented Australia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contestwith her original song “Champion,” placing first with the Jury and third overall, and captivating international audiences with her confidence and vocal power.
Since then, Jael has performed on some of the country’s biggest stages, including Centre Court at the Australian Openand the Opening Ceremony of the Australian Grand Prix. Now a returning performer at Carols in the Domain in 2025, she is excited to be back, bringing her signature warmth, joy and vocal brilliance to the festive celebration.
